Help The Sun Light Up Christmas for babies

Sprinkle some Christmas cheer by donating to help the poorliest and most vulnerable babies in Britain

The Sun's generous army of readers are helping the smallest and most vulnerable babies who will spend their first Christmas in hospital.

Our partnership with Bliss, the national charity for premature or sick babies, will bring hope to the thousands of tiny babies on neonatal units this Christmas.

Your donation will help Bliss to:

  • fund and train specialist volunteers, to support families to care for their tiny babies in hospital
  • train doctors and nurses to help parents be closely involved in their baby's care, which evidence shows leads to shorter hospital stays and better long-term health for the baby
  • campaign for facilities in hospitals across the UK so parents can stay close by their babies.

Your gift will help Bliss give babies born premature or sick the best possible chance of survival and quality of life.

Light Up Xmas
Our appeal will also provide care packages for families spending the festive period at a hospital cotside. We’ll take Christmas to them, with essentials and treats.

Help poorly babies this Christmas

Up to 8,000 babies will spend the Christmas season in a neonatal unit. Together let's give them the best possible start in life.
